A question about bolts
I have a question about some stuff. The first one is the allen head bolts that hold the upper fairing to the lower fairing do those have nuts behind them or are they like speed nuts? ( the one clips with the nuts welded onto them) also second question what holds the inner v fairing to the lower fairing? Is this the same setup? Anyone got any pictures of their bolts and stuff after theyve taken theyre bike apart? Ive searched and found nothing.

all of the bolts on the upper fairing, minus the three by the turn signals, I know for a fact are mounted in, so if you take them out, nothing will fall, and they just go right back in. Some have nuts that are built into rubber 'washers' almost. But those are on other parts of the bike.
That 'v' fairing, is held on by a few black push-ins. Just unscrew about a quarter turn, and the pop right out when you pull them.
Hope that helps. I'm at school now, so no pictures for you.]

Yeah the well nuts are basically a rubber grommet that has a metal threaded center. They start off kinda long, and then when they're tightened down, they collapse / widen which is what makes them actually grab onto the lower fairing.
Any Honda dealer should be able to get them, not to mention the many OEM parts suppliers online. Or if you're finding a lot of missing bolts and such, a full bolt kit from www.bikebolts.com is highly recommended. Then you can even get them all in a custom color.

+1 for bikebolts, I picked up a set of a "complete" fairing bolt kit off Ebay which was junk, (Yana Shika) then went to bikebolts and got the complete set, which was really complete! well nuts, push pins, and stainless bolts in black with detailed dirrections on where everything goes, plus the bolts were seperated into groups and numbered for even easier instalation.
