Default possibly a dumb quetion about lights

Well the f4i has been sitting for over 2 month now since the last time i had it running with nothing wrong I go to start it up this evening and the headlights arent on nor is the rear amber turn signal lights on ( but the blinkers work, they dont stay on when turn signal is not engaged ) so im guessing fuse? Anyone ever have this happen I know this is probably a dumb question I didnt have much time to tinker with it thought I would just throw this question out there thanks for the help

If the front fairing w/ headlights isn't plugged in the turnsigs / lights won't work. Maybe loose connection or forgot ?

Make sure your start button is not stuck ina little. That will keep the lights off. Just pull on it and see if the lights come on.

Do a search about this with maybe "Headlight switch" or something along those lines. I remember reading a thread where someones lights weren't working because the ground in the headlight switch went fluke. They had to look into the switch pod to reconnect the ground with solder I believe and everything worked again. Maybe just break open the switch pod and make sure that everything is in tact and hope that's it.

OK I will try some of these things out and yes the bike fires right up no problem just now low or high beam light comes on and the rear turn signals dont come on they will only work if you engage the turn signal itself they just dont stay on for a running light.

The rear ones are not supposed to be on for running lights...

I had a couple times last winter where my bike was outside for a while and was super cold, and when I tried to start it the bike would come on but the headlights didn't. The problem usually went away the second time I started it after letting it warm up and moving it around and whatnot. Not sure if it fits your bill, but make sure to double check and try stuff before panicing.

Correct. Your rear turn signals do not act as running lights - they should only turn on with the signal.
