possible clutch issue?

Default possible clutch issue?

need some help. Started the bike up today and let it warm up, went to put it in first and it dies. Started it back up and idles fine, put it in first and it dies. Any ideas? I dont know if this is a clutch engament issue or something else.

Guess you didn't know there is a sensor that does not allow you to take off if your kickstand is still down.

lol happens to the best of us. haha i hate it when my friends are waiting for me to go riding.. and they're sitting there with their bikes on staring at me to go. and i go to put it into gear *stall*. lol "oops sorry guys, forgot" never gets old

wow i feel like an idiot...... lol thanks guys, im just glad its not something serious. As you can tell i havent had this bike long[sm=smiley36.gif]

don't feel alone on this one - I rode my bike for the first time on thursday, and sure enough, I did the exact same thing - on my old bike I ALWAYS had a start up routine. Check fuel is on primary, choke, turn on engine, turn key on, put into neutral, start bike, put into first, put kickstand up, take choke off, drive away.

guess my routine needs to be modified a little...
