Default Poor Throttle Response

Ok guys the bike is all i have to drive now and it still has a major problem with real low speed constant throttle. I've just put new plugs in it and it helped a little bike has 14,xxx on it an needed plugs. However today in traffic it was very hard to drive because of how erratic the throttle response was. Any ideas as to what might be causing this? At one point the overflow was hooked to the map instead of vaccum and was throwing a map sensor code but as soon as vaccum got put back on it the code stopped flashing and everything was fine. I just have thjis poor throttle issue. OTher than that its running fine in the upper rpms. Thanks for any and all help.

like a choppy throttle? have you checked your wires or coil?
if it's really bad, it should throw a code though.
bike is choppy in first already...but i'm not sure exactly how choppy yours is though.

Choppy i guess would describe it. Lets see its like if you try to keep it at 1500-2000 rpms it will sputter then increase in rpms up to 2500 and then start to sputter when you let off and then hesitate when you give it more gas. Thats the best i can describe it unfortunately ;( I Would imagine if it was a coil misfire it would be throwing a code. I guess for that matter anything major should be throwing a code shouldnt it? I appreciate any and all help

could be that the chain is loose if its only at low rpms. Also make sure the battery cables are tight on the battery.
hmmmmm......if that doesnt do the job, check your fuel filter and tank for **** in there or maybe your pump isnt working or the injectors are clogged.

Cant think of much more than that, sorry

umm mainly i notice it really bad there in those rpms in 1st the higher the gear the less noticeable it is. STill is there under very light application of throttle but really notice it in first like i said.

ok...answer these...

1. did you just get this bike?
2. when did you notice this? right after a mod, etc.?
3. how does it idle?
4. most bikes will have twitchy throttel in first...and that's just how it is...pc3 really helps it out.

Ok
1) No the bike is not new to me. Its aproximately a year or so in my posession.
2) This problem has been apparent ever since i looped the bike from what i can tell. However when i put the bike back together the overflow for the coolant jug got put to the map sensor instead of vaccum. THis obviously caused a map sensor code to be thrown. WHen i took everything back apart i found vacuum and hooked it up to the map sensor. From this point on the map sensor code has not been thrown once however the problem is still there.
3) It idles pretty good majority of the time however sometimes i do notice that it will hesistate and studder and then stall sometimes after coming to a stop at a light. This isnt the normal case though
4) I have heard about this before however it wasnt like this before the accident.

To clear it up a little maybe atleast. It doesnt matter what gear really however it is aproximately the first 1/4in of throttle application. If you just barely twist the throttle a 1/4in or so and it stutters and then goes good with just a little more throttle. Thanks for any and all info it is greatly appreciated.
