Default Polished Rims & Painted Undertail

I went for a short ride yesterday to try out my new helmet and decided to take some pics of the bike.Nextitems on my list are polished rims, front turns, ss brake lines, and a chrome shield for the helmet to top everything off. I also need to paint the undertail on the bike, plus I have a hugger to install, but I want to paint it first. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

got a question for you man. what kind of material did you use for the mesh/grill look on your fairings? i was going to do the same thing but looked around and could find anything? I have an 06 with the same color scheme as you and just bought a 01-03 subframe to do the seat conversion

I used grill that I had left over from a car job. The grill was from Advanced Auto, but I can't remember the brand name. I bought it well over 3 yrs ago, so I don't know if they still carry them. I'm sure you can find something similar at an auto parts store tho. GL

Looks good.

My buddy has that same helmet. Looks nice.

Looks like you need a new rear tire too.

Thanks. Ya I love the helmet. I found a great deal on them, so I bought two (brand new)that match and ended up paying less than what one was regular price. New back tire???....hell that's just starting to break in, it started squaring off last week.....jus playin', I know I need a new one of those. Next paycheck.

If I may suggest, paint your undertail black, since you don't have a rear hugger, you'll kick stuff up onto the undertail, black will match your yellow/black paint scheme, andblack is much easier to find then a matching yellow.
