ok i know its been awhile due to busy schedule. but i did try to go back to duplicating the issue...................NO LUCK

There goes my season for riding ;(

I checked all wires for cuts and pinching and found nothing. Called honda dealer and they never heard of this problem and quoted me an estimate of $150/hr for diagnostic fee. Knowing the fact they never heard of this issue, im sure they would spend all and charge me arm n leg.

I did discover something new. There are 3 main harness, two of them clips to the gauges and other one to the front piece where all the lights are attached. When the two harness attached to gauges are connected; the gauges works but the bike does not turn on, its just cranks over with the fuel pump not working.
When i do connect the front piece harness; bikes cranks over but the gauges dont work as the fuse blew out.

I dont even know where to go with this.....................def dont want to have t checked by honda since its prob going to be a small fix (i hope).......and they rape me for the bill.

Anyone plz help me.

Yea thats ur tip sensor.... ide suggest not trying to turn the bike over without the pump priming.... i could be wrong but i dont believe thats very good on the bike

Kuro offered to swing by and give u a hand ide take him up on his offer

its def. a grounding issue if ur blowing fuses.... and on top of that it may not be visible when u went down i assume ur bars jerked... any tension on a wire while can cause a internal fracture..... so u may not even be able to see if.... if kuro brings his meter he can help pin point that wire...

I guarantee it's a connection or a wire. My crash obliterated my front end, and and my speedo flew about 85 feet, and it STILL works no problem. Minus the shift light and temperature gauge, big whoop.

check where the turn signal snapped. That's where the problem lies.

when I was trying to rewire for my aftermarket turn signals, my gauge cluster did the same thing and blew a fuse so try that area first.

cheers

Check the wires on the turnsignal. while i was putting in my turnsignals touched a wire on to ground by accident and blew a fuse make sure all connections are good

I agree with checking where your turn signal busted. Everything electrical on these things nowadays works together.

MBlack14s comment has been dealt with
