Default piston slap bad?

rode home early today from work, so decided to do my 06 f4i's 3rd oil change. last one was at 600 miles and i now have almost 1900. so i drained the oil, let it sit for 20 or 30 min., put back the 3.5 quarts as specified by honda, and then started it up. just after starting i heard some piston slap for a brief second or two. i've done a few oil changes and have never heard that before. my friend said it was probaly due to the oil not being fully circulated thru the engine. what do you think? thanks.
