Default pig spotter mirrors?

after my lowside laydown, i lost a mirror. in my search for a new pair i came across pig spotter mirrors. i love the look of them but i wanted to know if anyone has seen how they do functionally? they look to me at the angle that they mount that it would be impossible for a rider to see to the side of them using that product.....does anybody have any experience with using these? i don't need much visibility but i do need them to be ABLE to see to the side and rear of me. thanks

I just put pig spotters on my 2001 and as for visibility, they are useless. They do look pretty cool though

if you are concerned about visibility, you can use the stock mirrors with some extenders...

The Pig Spotters are designed to work when in full tuck, not when sitting more straight up.

hence the name "pig spotters", when do you actually want to spot a "pig"? when your speeding! what do you do on a croch when your speeding? you tuck!

on ebay they advertise them as losing 40 to 60 percent visability compared to stock.
