Ok, I haven't had time to upload any 'really good' pics of it, so here it is! So far, the only mods are a Pro Grip tank pad, Scorpion slip on, LED brake light bulbs, frame sliders, and I got rid of all of those warning stickers on the tank and swingarm. I also shaved the factory rear fender instead of eliminating it all together since it's free. I also had to replace the rear tire at 500 miles because of a drywall screw so I went with a Dunlop 208. I still have the 207 on the front though. I finally got the suspension set up really well last weekend and it's nice and stiff. I now have approxiamtely 950 miles on it in exactly 2 months. I also included a pic of the sprocket because I just scrubbed the chain and both sprockets for the first time, even though I've lubed it a few times before.

That is an awsome color. I love the Honda blue. I just cant take that banana seat, I dont even know why I dont like it. I bought a 2001 just to avoid that seat. I saved a lot of money as well going with an older bike. I have pics of it but every time I try to post them it says- file too big. Any advice. Great looking bike though man F4i is the best every day bike out there. We cant keep up with the 1000's but I can jump on it with five mins to get to campus and get there with 2 mins to spare everyday. And comfortable on the long mountain rides too. Love it.

x2....Same thing here

I love the look of the older F4i better, and like you said they're cheaper.

I can't get over the banana seat....reminds me of the 2002 Suzuki Katana 600 I had for my first bike (back in 2002).

What'd you use to cut your back fender?? A Dremel?

And it looks like you just eliminated the license plate light??

What'd you do with the seat release keyhole??

Yeah, I just too a dremel to it after carefully marking it off. Actually, what I did was cut a hole in the upper left part of the license plate that is exactly in line with the key hole. I ordered a set of white LED liscense plate lights from Targa. I only used one, but it's tucked under the tail light. It is about 2 inches long or so and is out of sight.
I agree about the banana seat, but it doesn't bother me too much. I will, however, probably order the Targa seat cowl when they offer one for the colors of '06 - blue and yellow. They have 04 and 05, but don't have the 06 colors yet available. But then getting stuff from under the seat will be a royal pain.

hey, just a dumb question, but doesn't scrubing the chain and sprocket take all the lube off? Nice bike by the way.

Thanks. It also takes off all of the gunked up lube, small stones and sand that collects on the chain causing it to wear the chain and sprockets really fast. It was relubed afterwards - after I took the pic. You got to scrub it every 750-1000 miles to get that crap off, but I'm picky like that.
