Default Pics of the Mistress

I'm more of a lurker on here than a poster but I figured I'd throw up a few pictures since I was always curious what my color scheme would look like with the mods I've done but could never find any pictures of exactly what I wanted. I have a silver '01 F4i.

I bought the bike completely bone stock in early April. I have had a ridiculous mod bug following me around in the last few weeks though. I bought an Airblade windscreen within the 1st week of having it which I really regret because I feel it doesn't do much as far as function goes and it fits horribly. I also installed smoked Hotbodies flushmounts, a Clear Alternatives integrated taillight (also smoked) and a pimpbike undertail. What do you guys recommend as far as wheel stripes go? I want something reflective to replace the side reflectors removed by the undertail. I was thinking either red or silver...

The flushmounts and taillight took me about an hour each to install. The reason it took so long because I had never taken the bike apart and was going slowly to make sure I didn't mess anything up and learn how everything went together. I'm very pleased with how both turned out. The undertail took about 2 hours plus paint time to put together and a few road blocks and detours aside on the install I'm very pleased with the final product.

On to the pics:

A few pics for those wondering where to cut:

Used self-tapping screws to mount the bracket. Quick and easy.

The final product sans a few small things I want to do to it still (pics taken at work today):

Thanks. I'm debating exhausts right now. Won't be for a while though. I just got new tires and oil and there's other things I need to focus on right now like new chain/sprockets.

PERTY Bike !! And your in the same state too.. I agree with the Yoshi.. love the sound of mine.

As far as the wheel stripes. I was thinking on mine going with silver or red (matches the F4i).But I'm afraid the red would stand out toooo much.

That's a good idea. I'll throw up a How-To on it a little later.

Hey Botlfed,

I'm about to order the undertail you have and was wondering how to colormatch properly. Did you take a mfr paint code to a paint store or is it done another way? Would you mind listing what you used and a simple step description of how you colormatched and painted the undertail?

Thanks,
Jason B.
