Picking my bike up tomorrow, can it get wet in the back of a truck?
you can get a motorcycle cover if your worried but it wont harm anything really, somefolks ride in the rain all the time.....
I would advise against a cover while transporting it. The wind flapping the cover around may cause damage to the bike. Just wash it when you get home.
I ride in the rain as well... you'll do more damage with a cover in an afternoon than the rain will do in a week of the heaviest rain you've ever lived through.
Seriously.
Seriously.
DO NOT put a cover on your bike when you transport it, the wind will slap the cover on your paint and it will eat your clearcoat if your lucky, your entire paint job if your unlucky.
Make sure the front of the bike is face the cab, otherwise you will lose your windshield in the drive. Happened to a friend not even two weeks ago. Didn't even ride it and broke his front end off.
Bad news, bike slipped in the back of the truck, didn't have it strapped down good and cracked the front fender, chipped the tank, and scraped the tail. =( First bike, within 5 minutes having paid for it. Oh well, it is still fast as HELL above 6k. Already bought the battery tender for it =)
