Default Peg interchange question

I did a search and didn't come up with much. I like the passenger foot peg helmet lock that I had on my F2. Are there rear pegs like this from other years what will fit our biks?

I know there is the hooks under the seat but the one on the peg was nice for conveniance, Quicker to use. and you could carry and extra lid by locking the ring in and tying the strap to the seat strap. How do you guys carry an extra lid?

I either put in the lock under the seat and let it hang out.
I also have this mesh strap thing that fits around the helmet and tail of the bike like a hammock and put the helmet on the passenger seat and tie each end to the tie down bolts that come out at the side of the passenger seat.

when it's just hanging by the lock rings how secure is it? moves around a bit would be my assumption.

there is a clip under your seat that you can hook your ring to and close the seat down on it.
I know I have used it several times..

I don't understand how the peg one would be any easier.

1) Unlock and remove seat.
2) Attach helmet.
3) Reattach seat.
4) ???
5) Profit.

F3 had like a peg lock too. And it was easier than taking off the seat and yadayadayada.

I've only ridden with my lid on the hook from the rear of the office parking lot to the door but it felt pretty secure jp. TBH if I were to carry a spare helmet, I'd prolly use cargo netting and then lock it under the seat when I'm stopped. Not because I'd be worried about it being secured.

All the road chit getting kicked up on the lid and chipping the paint would be my worry.
