PC3 for 265!?!

Installed it yesterday and took it for a spin. Didn't notice anything. I hear everyone rant and rave about how smooth it makes even a stock bike. My bike is nothing special with an Erion slip on. But I thought I would notice something.
I hooked it up to my cpu, plugged up a 5 dollar 9volt to it (damn did batteries get expensive!) sent the map (said it was received) unplugged and installed it into my bike. Started it up, revved it and watched the pretty lights go up and down.
Did I miss something here? I know not to expect a release of 20 or so HP, but I thought I would notice something?!?!

The only difference between a PC3r (older model that allows timing adjustment) and the PC3usb (newer model) is the USB hookup and the lack of timing adjustment of course.
By generic do you mean the maps from dynojet? Cause that's what I used.
Can I at least expect to see a small gain in MPG?

If you want the ignition adjustment just get the add-on for the USB (IMO). The PCIIIr came out in 2000, and I'm sure some refinements have been made since then to allow for much better tuning of your motorcycle. No point in going back to older tech.
As for MPG, it's really hard to say, especially with a generic map. If anything, though, I bet it will be slightly worse until you get it tuned. Mine is (mine's still untuned).
