Default Parts!

Had a few questions on some parts. I read the FAQ's but wanted some more depth. Like what is a good brand of air filter to get? What's a good brand for HID's? What about frame sliders? I have some on now but they are way long. I know they wont let any part touch if it goes down but is that another type of slider that wont let the body touch?
Thanks!

Cages also reduce ground clearance. If you ever plan on riding a track or aggresively on the street forget about it. I might be interested in taking those frame sliders off your hands. If you decide to get rid of them shoot me a PM please.

krux said it best, and frame sliders........they arent for protecting the body the r frame sliders, not fairing sliders. if you want bodywork protection then u cant a cage, not even race rails will really protect the entire body. and even with a cage depending on how hard you hit your body may still get damaged.
for cages, tygershark is good, so is sick innovations, and atowns new cage is good too. 905 is good but is a shin buster and kinda annoying.

like jp said, if you have a cage dont expect to be able to lean very far, and def dont expect any track. if that cage scrapes in a turn, thats gonna be a rough rough wreck

Thanks guys! For the HID's what are the different bulb types and also what about wattage?
Btw, not looking to get rid of, just an extra set.
Not looking for a cage either, but I appreciate it.

Thats cool. I was just thinking I might mill them down and replace the t-rex sliders I've already put to use once this season :P

H7, 35W are the kit you would want to get from DDM.
6k or 8k are the most popular.
6k being pure white and
8k having a blue tinge to them.
I have 8k in my truck (headlights and fog lights) as well as my bike and love the colour.
Its all preference.
