paint suggestions
primer gray is not cutting it anymore and soon i'll have the $$ to paint her. i'm almost set on black. all black. but any suggetions will be considered. ive got a bone stock 03 f4i with some pavement mods. and i'm gonna pay a buddy to shoot her. so, what color? (not trying to step on anyone's thread, double d)
black always looks good but its one of the hardest colors to shoot and have it look really good but i would also have something to break up all the black but thats just me and black is always a good looking color
i saw a black bike tonight with this midnight-maroon candy over it. You couldn't even see the red until you were close enough to have sex with it. Then, when when i was close enough to see the twinkle, i wanted to have sex with it.
As BadAzF4i already said, black is the hardest color to shoot......you'll spend a lot of time keeping it clean, and the swirl marks will eventually get to you. Not to mention it's harder for you to stand out so cagers don't hit you.
I like the look of a black bike, but I wouldn't buy one. I bought red, because it really like the way it stands out.
I would personally go with a bright color (red, yellow, etc). White with a hint of silver pearl looks great on these bikes. I would say go to a dealer, find the bike that attracts you the most, and paint it the same color.

Black is nice but again hard to make it look good. My buddy has a 2005 ZX-10 and he does custom paint and his is Cadillac escallade pearl white with a lot of flake in it and it is the nicest color I have seen. And another guy has a black bike with blue flake in it and when you get that thing in the sun it shines and sparkles and it looks awesome with all his chrome. I personally like something to break up all the color and I do custom airbrushing/painting so I like to have different designs on my bike.
whatevery you do will look cooler than the stock f4i but one thing that i recomment is do not paint the tail and the undertail white. I have that and after every ride my tail looks grey and has crap load of grime on it.
i know its a fixxer but i worked on this bike some. its got like $2500 in paint on it. tons of ghost demons and skulls you can't see until your right up to the bike. the paint is really awesome in person
