overrev questions..
i havent really pushed the rpms on my bike to redline (13k) and im curious as to how its setup.
is there a rev limiter? is it set to the begginning, middle, or end of redline(or what rpm)?
does it shut off fuel with the ignition, or is it just like a normal limiter?
is it like that nasty bikegonnablow burnout "whaapwhaaaaapwhaaaaapwhaaaaaaap" sound like those supercool stunters pull when they get bored.
thanks for enlightenment.

RE: overrev questions..
I am bouncing off the rev limiter once or twice a day. I only have 4,300 miles.
yes, it's like a normal rev limiter. "wwwhhaaabbaabbbaabbabbbabba". It wll stay there if you hold the throttle .
Don't be afraid to redline your bike. from factory, rev limiters are very conservative. The engine can take more.

RE: overrev questions..
My redline is at 14,250. Rev limiter is a bit higher. I was on it a couple of times at the track. Didn't notice except to notice that I wasn't getting any more acceleration. I does sound different though. You can actually feel it cut in/out/in/out. Doesn't disturb the chassis, it's that gentle.
Did Honda move the redline down on the newer bikes?
