So I bought the bike with this aftermarket undertail setup, painted to match. But the LED lights are budget garbage and super dim.

So I have to choose between:
[blockquote][ul][*]Replacing the existing LEDs with something like the Radiantz 1.85" (reviewed http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/led/led.htm)[*]Cut the aftermarket undertail to reinstall the OEM tail light which is much larger (and not bad looking on the 2005 F4i)[*]Sell the aftermarket undertail as-is to someone who doesn't care about visibility and get the Pimpbikes undertail that re-uses the OEM tail light.[/ul][/blockquote]What does the peanut gallery think?

I really like the undertail and would probably get better lights for it. It seems like you want to use the stock light though, so you should probably sell it as it and get the one that uses the stock light.
I probably wouldnt cut it for the stock light, but thats just me.
