Default Not just another exhaust question

Ok, so this is an exhaust question, but not "which one shouldI get," I can make that decision on my own. I know i want a high mount, either two bros or Micron. I know both of those either have kits to, or just plain old were made to retain the passenger pegs. My Question is if anyones passengers have complained of heat and/or have gotten burnt by the pipe. Also is there anyone that makes a form of a heat shield, kinf of like the drivers pegs have?

First off, Hi and [sm=welcomesign.gif]to the site!
Secondly to answer your question, none of my friends have a high mount and I don't have one either, so I can't really have ananswer for you. But I would think the passenger can get burned on that pipe but don't know if the pipe maker has a shield available.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I have the Hindle high mount and have taken passengers. They certainly didn't say anything about heat, so all I can do is assume it's no problem

Just now stumbling onto this thread, but I had the same concern. I ride at least 50% of the time with a passenger. I am ordering a Two Bros high mount. I don't think the can is the problem with the heat. I think that the pipe right beside the peg would be what would burn the passenger. Just my thoughts, not that I even have anything to worry about. The exhaust is not anywhere near my feet! Haha...

Sorry itgbudeev, the way I worded it probably sounded like I already ordered it. I am waiting to hear back from my Two Bros rep as to whether or not it's possible. I will post the outcome as soon as I hear back from him. I will be ordering the exhaust as soon as I get the good news, and pics will be up in their own post as soon as it arrives.

Don't worry I'll keep you updated...
