Noob question about flush mounts

I just got an 06 f4i and it doesn't have front turn signals so I figured hey let's get flush mounts. My question is were can I get some nice flush mounts that don't cost an arm and a leg? Also I can't seem to find the wires for my front turn signals. Any ideas of where about I could find them?

Thanks.

For hooking your 2 wire flush mounts up to the 3 wire stock wiring, and maintain the stock running light capability - read this thread:

https://cbrforum.com/forum/general-tech-9/flush-mount-issue-113084/

as for finding the wiring itself - you should have a wiring bundle on each side - will have a green wire, orange, and orange/white on the left side , and green, lt. blue and lt. blue/white on the right. If it's anything like the older bikes (all I have to go on) that wiring would run into a series of connectors that the headlight wiring, bank angle sensor, turn signal relays, headlight relays - all are probably under/behind the gauge cluster area. it is possible someone removed the wiring completely - it might just unplug from the connector panels - in that case a F4i owner will have to post pics of exactly where theirs go.

they are 20 bucks on ebay...

I foud mine on ebay. One thing to watch for is that some can't be seen at ALL from the front and basicly make them useless.

I installed the hotbodies smoke colored flush mounts and wired them 2 to 3 so theyr always on...They work amazing. Use diodes and electrical tape and shrink wrap...Some people need resistors to slow the blinking rate if it is too rapid but for some odd lucky reason mine ended up being the same rate as the stocks that were in there...I love em!!!

I kinda like the fast flash - it's different than what other drivers are used to, which is a bonus in my book when trying to make sure they notice you.

this happened with me too. but i think it's because the stocks are blinking at a faster rate than normal, not the LEDs flashing slower. i'm sure if you replace the stock rears with LEDs, everything would be even faster.
