stopped by the dealer and they said honda polish is discontinued for now. what kinda of substitute spray on cleaner/polish/wax works as well? i need to cleanthe water spots off my bike and give her a good general total polishing/waxing before i take her out of the garage and into the elements again. thanks

 

Honda polish, Honda oil, Honda sunglasses are marketing gimmicks. Use whatever polish
you would use for your car. Honda motorcycles, cars, lawnmowers, generators on the other
hand are the real deal.

 

No, Honda Polish was the real deal, one of the best polishing compounds I've used. Honda's fork oil is also really good

 

I heard that Honda had to stop selling the Spray Cleaner & Polish in California only because it was in a aerosol can.
Do you live in Ca.?
If not this would truly suck if they stopped selling it.

 

When I was at the dealership on Saturday they still had a full shelf of Honda products, Honda polish included, so either they just haven't sold out yet, or we're still continuing to get it (Colorado by the way).

 

nope, i'm in LA. the dealership had it up until about a month ago. they sold out and won't be gettin anymore anytime soon. maybe honda will reformulate it or whatever[&:]

Man I am so sick of hearing this. Honda Polish isn't going anywhere. There was a brief time when it was unavailable, they reformulated it, it's still for sale. I have four cans. If anyone's in a superduperpanic, I'll sell them for $100 each LOL.

 

my dealer has no more and said it was discontinued. i'm just lookin for the next best thing until they can maybe get some more. i'm stoppin at an autoparts store on the way home and was wondering if any of the crap they carry is equivalent or better than the honda polish. thanks

 

Your dealer's wrong.

I haven't found a decent substitute for it. Check ebay, plenty of people selling it for less than $5 a can.
