The aftermarket mirriors i had on my bike broke when i was installing my flushmounts and just wanted to know if anyone got pulled over for no mirrors and if so what happened. Did you just get a ticket and they let you ride or did they try to impound

This guy I ride with has a 2003 ZX10 and he has no mirrors and doesnt get bothered and mirrors are required here in michigan also. So I think they wont impound the bike over mirrors.

 

I'd say this is a "fix it" ticket candidate if they decide to bother you. I ride with a guy without mirrors and he's never had a problem.

 

Huh???? no mirrors??? How a going to see that person "hockey stopping" you at that intesection... in the rain???? Or that 4cyl cage maniac, weave'n lanes behind you... look'n for a race. Tickets are the least of the real concerns... mirrors are indespensible.

Funny...Ive been riding w/o mirrors since august....I just got new ones this week. Never got pulled over for mirrors...

 

i've been riding without mirrors for the last year. haven't been pulled over for it. hell, nobody seems to notice. but i'll be getting some back on there soon. btw, i think they're required in IL too. pretty sure

 

i think ny only requires one, if they even care lol

 

i couldnt imagine riding without mirrors . havign them have saved my *** quite a few times from cagers and COPS ! i hate it when those sneaky bastards come creepin up on ya .

 

Yea mirrors are a must because i have relied on them countless times to get out of the way of traffic or watching the cop follow behind me for a mile or so just to see if i will take off or run my plates. lol.
