Default No drill frame sliders.

Hey guys I just drilled my 1,200mi 2002 perfect fairing last weekend and just saw on Ebay T-rex has a great looking kit for frame sliders that puts them out the stock cut in the faring. They looked great. So now I have that sick feeling that i just drilled a big hole in my farings. Owe Well so for all you new guys to the F4I check out the options and maybe you can get good strong frame sliders without drilling. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...spagenameZWDVW I just got that sick feeling again..........

Cutting is the right thing. There is no way those things are as strong as Vortex or the others that bolt directly to the engine mount. In a bad crash, those things are going to bend and cause more damage.

ditto just ask yourself if those little brackets will support the bike when its slammed down on its side or will they bend into the frame and cause a LOT more damage
drilling may not be the easiest thing but those sliders are actually meant to protect your frame in a crash not destroy it

Yeah, My vortex sliders held up great in my crash. If that thing wasnt there that fairing would have been toast. The bike was a total anyway, but still, just goes to show...VORTEX BABY
