nice 200 mile ride today but nooooooooooo!
took my rear rim to the shop this morning and got my qualifier installed and balenced. come home, put the bike back together, check my tire pressures and off i go.well it was a great ride even though its 95f down here right now. i get home and am parking the bike and what do i see[:@]but a piece of metal in my brand new rear tire. i went and bought a plug kit and when i got back i shuddered at the though of another freakin flat. well, i took the piece of metal out of the tire and igot lucky as hell. it was only a very small piece of metal that went into the main tread almost in the center of the tire and didn't come close to punturing the tire. what a fookin day huh? do they make soild tires like the scooters use?[8D]

Here we go!

I lived in Tucson for 20 years. Everytime I heard someone from the east coast say "yeah, but it's a dry heat" I just wanted to scream! People here in Massachusetts always say how much worse it is because of the humidity -- GIVE ME A F***ING BREAK!! It's blistering hot in Arizona for most of the year, it's hot here for maybe a month. People here are [sm=smiley35.gif] [sm=smiley35.gif].
Try this:
1) Close all the doors and windows in your house
2) Turn the heat up all the way
3) Crank up the stove to 110 and leave the oven-door open
4) Stick your head in the oven.
That's Arizona for you!
Oh yeah, don't forget to turn on some fans and throw dust and dirt all over the place to get the feel of the ever-present desert winds.
Arizona's four seasons:
1. December 2. January 3. February 4. Summer
