Default New Tires or Not???

I have an 02' F4i with 2000 miles. The bike has the original Dunlop D207 tires. No signs of cracking or wear...no chicken strips almost at all. Should I get new tires or just use these for this season? Like I said they look brand new but i'm worried that maybe their quality is diminished to the point where they won't stick to the road properly anymore.

I would get new tires just for safety sake. If nothing else you will have a better piece of mind and trust your tires and their capabilities.

This is true.

Anyone else with some suggestions. I'm trying to get a consensus.

well it's a toss up, you are already doubting them which is gonna make you not trust them as well cornering, yet if you get new ones you can trust them until they are broken in, LOL......flip a coin

good point...riding is all mental...
if you can't trust the bike and the tires...you're in trouble...
and plus i believe the tires have expirations also...02 is too old...replace 'em...my 2cents...

You can break them in with 15 miles of riding, you just have to get that film off the outer layer.

sportbiketrackgear.com might be the same or cheaper. What brand are you going with?
