yes that is correct. 16T in the front and 46T in the back and their 525.

You can get 520 and it will be a little lighter than the stock chain, but can I ask why you want to do that conversion? A lot of people do -1 in the front and leave the back or they do -1 in the front sprocket and +2 in the rear sprocket with the 520 conversion. This translates to 45T in the front and 48T in the back. Hope this helps.

no that translates to 15T in the front. Converting to 520 just to convert is a waste of money IMO. I've ran 520 conversion twice and it just wore out to fast. Also dont go down in the front and up in the back unless you want to be reving real high no the highway. going down 1 in the front and stock in the back or stock on the front and 50T on the back around the same ratio. Either of these will give you alot more torque however you will notice an increase in rpms on the highway. IMO I would just leave it alone unless your looking for performance in which case I would still stick with the 525. It just lasts longer.

thanks jonld. That is what i meant 15T in the front instead of 45T. Can you imagine a 45T. That would be like a turtle. haha.

if you change your sprockets, your going to lose top end. Now if you went up in the front, which I dont know why you would do that or even down in the back, you will gain top end, however, it will take you a little longer than usual to get to that top end speed. By the way, all of this sprocket conversions changes your torque, not your horsepower. Some people get that confused some times.

Don't waste your time or money doing the conversion if your not going to change out the teeth -1 or +2 in the backside. 160 mph huh? How often do you go that fast on public streets or highways?

I see your a new member and I don't know about your riding experience, but maybe you should work on your skills of riding before you break Mach 3 on your bike and get hurt or killed?

The weight decrease you gain from a 520 conversion is so minimal and doesnt warrant the decrease in chain life. Stay stock if your worried about top end or just go up 1 or 2 teeth in the back. You wont lose enough top end to notice and will gain a slightly noticible increase in torque. Your actual top speed most likly wasnt even close to 160 as I've seen stock f4i register about 180 topped out and gps'd just over 150. As far as trying to catch up with a litre duc, let him get the ticket or the trashed bike. It's just not worth it playing on the streets. Take it from someone who's been there a few times.
