Just remember not to wave at scooters.
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA- That made me laugh SO HARD!!!
I've accidently done that though at night with my dark screen down. Some of those scooters are quick and LOOK like real bikes.

im going to experiment a little bit once i get off work today. thanks for the suggestions. i will let you guys know how it goes.

edit: forgot to answer the question about temp. it was about 75-80 degrees outside, and a little humid. the bikes operating temp was ranging from 175-180. sometimes 190 in the slower speed limits. (35)

Why discriminate just because they have scooters? That's just as bad as the Harley guy's not waving back when we wave to them. Some of those scooters are actually pretty fun to ride.

don't forget to check your battery terminals to make sure they are on there tight.

its possible that a batteryrelated issue, but just like Illushun stated it can be the volatage regulator getting to hot.

I once put my battery back into the bike after charging it. The bike coughed like crazy on the highway, especially when i squeezed on the throttle. Thot i had serious issues. I opened it up again and realised i didn't tighten when of the battery leads. And that was all there was to it... loose battery contact.

I've got a Vespa as well as an F4i, and the Vespa is every bit as cool as the Honda, and a lot more useful in the city. Anyone on 2 wheels deserves a wave!

Not, to hijack the thread, but I love waving to people on scooters. No one else I ride with does though, but I just feel like I am making their day, and it's not like it takes any effort. To the OP sorry I have no idea what could be wrong with your ride.
