ok my bike will only run for about 2min (135F) then it dies out and will not start back up.

Anybody run into this problem or have any ideas

 

Might be a weak battery.

 

or a bad alternator...

 

i put a brand new charged battery in yesterday

 

ide have ur alternator tested then... stat...

bike pulls alot of power out of that battery pretty quick without a alternator to recharge it

 

how do i test the alternator?
once the bike cools down it starts back up and does the same thing. wouldnt it not start back up if the bike is sucking the battery?

 

Check your battery voltage, then start the bike and check the battery voltage. It should go up while its running.
Any other symptoms? Like FI light is blinking, smell gas, idles funny.... You said it dies out, can you rev it up at all while its running?

 

idles normal but when i notice its about to stall, i rev up but as soon as i let off the throttle it stalls. everything else seems very normal. my neutral light doesnt come on thats about it.

 

o and it wont let me start the bike unless im holding the clutch, even when the bike is in neutral(without the neutral light being on)

 

mine makes me hold in the clutch to start it even in neutral as well, i just thought that was how it was supposed to be. but i dont have any problems with mine dieing or anything.
