Default A new look....

Okay, so ever since the El Camino ran into me and I eventually fixed the bike back to new condition (i.e. "all OEM parts") I've been thinking about making some changes to the bike. You can see the original in my avatar to the left, and this is what I've done. At this point, all of the black is done with vinyl, meaning it isn't permanent. I figured I'd give it a go and see how I like it. I photoshopped it, but that's never quite enough so I went ahead and did it for real. Now having seen in in person, I'll probably take some time in February to remove the decals and go ahead and paint it.

Also, the undertail is new. It's a custom made job, including the brake/tail light. I wasn't happy with any of the designs available--they all were too "showy" for me, also wanted to keep the original cargo net hooks. This is more what I was looking for and since I had the majority of materials already on hand, it only cost a few dollars--Mostly for the led brake/tail bulbs... Notice the small dot right in the middle of the undertail--that's a single wide angle white LED that serves as a plate light.

Anyhow, feel free to share your thoughts, appreciation, criticism, whatever.

Thanks for the comments. I'm really happy with the way the undertail turned out. I may put together a "how to" on it in case anyone else is interested in one.
