Hey guys. New around the boards here. Seems like a very informative place. I just bought my first bike, a 1999 honda cbr f4i. It's got 25k on the clock which seems alot to me but most people on here seem to think otherwise lol. It was female owned and she did all the service done when it was needed. I got it for a mere 2800 bucks. Here's a picture of it. Anything i need to take care before i get her on the road? I know for a fact it needs a new tire and a chain but that looked to be it. As of yet, no, i'm pretty content with how it is. It's got a Jardine slip-on which sounds amazing and a couple of other little details. Right now i'm focusing on getting some good gear and def. taking the MSF course as soon as i can. And yea i dread blowing all my money into the bike but it sure is worht it!

 

1999 F4i? I think you got yourself an F4 there. The "i" stands for fuel injection and that didn't start to 01. That is of course assuming someone didn't put injection on your F4.

 

Oops! Your exactly right. YOu can tell how new i am to all this. I assumed all of the F4's were fuel injected. I'm glad you told me that though.

my f4i has 21000 on it. not a big deal if your bike has been cared for the right way.
