when replacing you can simply cut the old ones off. No no disassembly of the controls needed. On those particular type of grips I dunno if the use adhesive or a set screw to secure em tho.

They look nice tho, I may look into a set

They are on my list of "upgrades or needs" (what i tell the ol lady) that i need for this winter.. I probably wont be getting to it for another month or so tho.. Good luck to the first recipient and post a how too =)

use compressed air to take them off and put them on

I have read several times that this is the easiest way to put on new grips. There is a you tube video out there showing how easy they go on....

This looks like a great solution. One friend of mine might have such thing in his garage. Now I just need so squeeze new grips into my budget.
