Default New Front Turn Signal Idea - What Do You Think?

So anyone with the Hotbodies front flushmounts knows that the signals are a little hard to see from the front of the bike. Well, instead of buying some stalked signals to make them easier to see, I decided to add some LEDs to the air intakes on the front of the bike. What do you guys think?

And a movie to go along with it:

http://www.cambunch.com/stuff/bike/signal.avi 2mb Xvid .avi

http://www.cambunch.com/stuff/bike/signal.mov 22mb QuickTime .mov

Should I make a permanent design and use it? Let me know what you guys think!

I think that is a wicked idea. I always get looks from oncoming vehicles cause they can't see my little flush mount indicators. If they can't see something the size of those ram air vents they shouldn't be driving.

Great idea dude. A write up would be great to see.

I can download the video now but it doesn't play in Windows Media Player for some reason.

I have 2 versions of it up now, a 2mb Xvid avi and a 20mb Quicktime movie. If you can watch Xvids, then get that one since its 1/10th the size. Otherwise, the Quicktime one should work in Windows Media Player.

Looks great! I have the Hotbodies flushmounts and I really hate knowing the people straight across from me at a 4-way don't know which way I'm turning. A how-to would be great!
