New F4i Owner...Kickass Deal...!!!

RE: New F4i Owner...Kickass Deal...!!!
Thanks for all of the replies. The F4i is proving to be very enjoyable and very easy to ride distance on. I did a trip yesterday that was about 2.5hours one way with one stop to fill up with gas. When I reached my destination I was off the bike for about 20 minutes in a store and then I was right back on the bike and riding home for another 2.5 hours. When I got home by butt was just a wee bit sore...but was perfectly fine. I'm coming off an inline-4sport touring naked bike so I'm very used to a much more upright position. I was really shocked yesterday at just how comfortable the bike is. Can tuck in very well. I wouldn't want to ride 500 miles with no stops...but it was perfectly fine for my trip yesterday.
Pulls hard all the way to redline through the first 3 gears. Didn't pull all the way to redline on 4-6, but 4-6 pull very well. Maybeif I can get to astraight track I can seeif 4-6 pull all the way to redline as well as gears 1-3.Power curve seems VERY linear according to my butt dyno. No flat spots, no sharp peaks....just a really nice pull.
Surprised by the stock Michelin Pilot Sports. I was riding with Pilot Powers on my last bike but they square off too fast if you do too much city or highway riding..but the Pilot Powersare sticky as hell in the corners and they give a lot of confidence in leans. I wasn't expecting too much from the stock Pilot Sports on the F4i but they have really surprised me. They take a bit to get warmed up. Until they are warm they feel a bit slippery (but this could be my suspension set a bit to firm with a light rearend since I ride weighting the front end...I'm still tweaking my suspension settings for the rear)...otherwise they seem really great. I would like to try a set of Bridestone BT 021's and a set of the new Michelin Pilot Road 2's (if the'll ever get them out in the US). But...I'm happy with the stock Pilot Sports right now.
All in all...a fantastic machine. I could not be happier. Now if my blue reflective rim strips will ever get here...

The blue and black was one of my favorites color schemes. It looks really good with the LE shorty exhaust, too...very complimentary. (Isn't that right, oodayvidoo?
That and some flushies up front and you'll be good to go.
Let me know if you want some suspension setting suggestions. I've fooled with mine a bit and found the 'sweet spot', at least imo.
