Default New F4i

Hi everybody!! I just got my very first bike, and it's an 02 600F4i. I've been looking at the forum for some time now, and i know how people feel both ways about the cbr6 as a first bike, but i've been riding dirt bikes since i was 4(21 now), so i'm very confident that i won't have much of a problem. i'm going to take it easy, and respect it till i get to know it. i traded my 87 mazda rx7 project for it straight across. was it worth it? i don't care, i think the bike was well worth it no mater what the car was worth. he tricked it a lil but took care of it so it has some dings here and there, but it's my first bike so i figure i'll be able to customize it as i go. it already has an undertail(not sure which one), a tinted double bubble, little more sleek front turns(not flush...yet), frame sliders and bar ends(need new ones from the stuntig) but he never stunted with the side fairings on so they're flawless. Well the bad part is, he stoppied over so i need a new upper(small chunk out of the side, still rideable) and mirrors. so if anyone's got a spare upper or mirrors, plz let me know. i'm super excited to be a new F4i owner(been wanting one for a long time), and a new member to the forum.

Congratulations on your new bike.AnF4i is my first bike too except you haveway more experience than me (on bikes that is ). Isn't it nice buying a bike with a bunch of goodies on it already? Check out e-Bay for used replacement parts.

Welcome!! And congrats on the new (to you) F4i As has been mentioned, you'll love the F4i, it's an awesome bike! And rock solid bulletproof ain't no joke either! If my bike isn't a living testament to that statement, then I don't know what is..... 144,000 miles and rocking strong as ever! Just keep the oil changed regularly and she'll run forever [8D]

Good luck with it and keep the rubber side down!

Oh and I'll add another....
