Default New Exhaust

Well i got my 06 f4i like 2 months ago and decided is time to get rid of the boring stock exhaust and swap it for a slip on. Problem is i dont know what one to get. I know i want a carbon fiber and am still undecided if i want to put a high mount on. I want something thats got a nice healthy sound but also something that thats not insane loud to the point its annoying. Thanks in Advance...

I have the Micron high mount, and I have to say i really like it. It has a nice deep sound which isn't annoying loud, and I think it looks great. Check out my profile, I have a good picture of it on there.

Don't get a high-mount-they restrict the passenger, you should look into a two brothers!

I thought micron went out of business? I may be wrong....I would suggest getting a race mount...it is between a low mount and high mount....Some high mounts are not so bad however most of them do restrict the exhaust flow and in turn dercrease HP and increase torque..I just bought a new M4 race mount and love it. It is a full system and wow...what a diffenrence. I also have a hindle low mount and that is to me one of the best exhaust for the least amount of money...I would not get D&D...loud and cheaply made...I also like Yoshimura and Akrapovic as well as leo vince...It is a hard choice however for the best gains...get a full system...I just bought one for cheaper than most slip on's...You just have to be patient and look around...I got mine for 300$ below cost...Honda dealer wanted to get rid of it cause inventory day was coming up... Good luck

Here are some pics of the High mount, low mount and race mount...

I went with the Yoshimura RS-3 oval. It was $260 on eBay (new). It comes with a removable silencer so you can choose between loud and quiet. Good quality and good instructions.

I'm loving my Two Brother carbon fiber pipe:

Not too loud, sounds great, not hot to the touch even after hours of riding. I love it!
