Default New Driven Grips

Just got some new grips put on and I was messing around with the camera anyways, so here they are. Quality wise they’re way better than oem. The fit was right on without moving anything around. They’re as grippy as they look.

They are definitely softer than oem but they don't feel gummy or gooey at all. I cant tell if the gel is inside or outside (they are½ gel ½ pvc). The outer diameter is alsolarger so you get an improved grip, depending on your hand size I suppose.

It was very easy with about an hour labor. I took a shish-ka-bob stick and wedged it between the clip-on and the rubber, and shoved it in there about ¾ ways in. Stuck the WD-40 straw in, gave it a blast andthey slid right off. Then went ahead and removed the adhesive with rubbing alcohol; that was a pita. Used hairspray to slide them on being careful to align the throttle side so it wouldn`t bind.

I've had these since mid 2007. Definitely comfortable. I've got definite worn spots from some key pressure points, though. Hasn't affected performance at all that I've noticed, but doesn't look as pretty. I'll probably replace them sometime this season.

That did cross my mind when I saw the fine diamond pattern on them, but at $10-15 bucks it`s no big thing. The waffle pattern ones probablylast longer.

I used my air compressor to blow 90psi between the grip and the bar. They'll slide off on a cushion of air, no messy clean up. I went with ProGrips myself.
