Honda CBR 600 F4i 2001-2006 O-Ring Chain - Orange | eBay

i read the sellers review and could only find 3 on this item, but all 3 were good. just not sure how good it actually is. just wanna make sure its safe mainly, and will last.

 

id suggest doing extensive research and google searching for Volar chains before buying...its so cheap ($), i just dont know

 

 

I'm due for a new chain and checked them (Volar) out as well. I just think it's a bit sus that they're claiming a couple of thousand psi more tensile strength than the big name chain manufacturers like DID, Tsubaki etc. I'm spending the extra and getting a DID X-ring, those biatches dont seem to stretch on smaller capacity bikes. I bought the Volar front pads for my F3 from D2moto and although they are lasting, they just dont have the feel or eventual bite that my last set of EBC pads gave. I wont be buying them again and it kind of put me off their chains as well. Dont wanna stuff up my new sprockets I just bought with a crap chain so I'll wait till next pay.

 

I went with Sprocketcenter.com. I got a colored chain and steel sprocket. Pretty average pricing nd you can choose aluminum or steel, as well as a chain color

My go-to chains are D.I.D & RK.

 

I recommend Sprocket Center.

 

yea they just didnt really seem to be that great. i've heard a story about a chain snapping and locking up the rear tire and killing the rider before, so i definitely dont want that to be me.

 

Why not get one of the RK kits that come w/ the chain and sprockets for about $160?

 

+1 that's what I did. Might be putting it on this weekend, depends on if I can get my hands on a chain tool or not.
