new cbr 06 f4i owner
Hey, Whats up everyone my name is Joey and I am new to the forum. Ibought my first bike ever I treated my self for my 33rd b-day to a 06 f4i blk and blu all stockCalifornia model in August 07 from the original owner. It had like1,850 miles. I found it on craigslist. I bought it for 5,500 with 3 helmets, and a few misc items. It took me over 9 monthsto findthe right deal and bike. I had very little experience riding. The biggest testwas riding this bike for the first timebesides the testride inNYC and going over the 59th street bridge going home to Queens.I took it to ahonda dealer and got the oil changed and the chain lubed that was it. I basically learned how to ride my f4i at J.F.K. airport which is huge and has a lot of side roadswhich are openthat a lot of people don't know about. Now its Long island mostly (Jones Beach) where I can open it up. This bike is faster than Ithought. I now have a little over 3000 mileson the bike its addicting. Thanks to everyone who responds toshare thereknowledge.Especially for the clueless people like myself.Iprinted out the other day what to do to store your bike for the winter on this forum. Thanks again. I have seen other members pictures of there f4i's on this site which I want my bike to look like.I promised myself I will leave it all stock until next season. I didnt want to get anything done right away. I wanted to know that I would have this bike for awhileif you know what I mean.. I can'twait toput that 2 brosc.f. slip on nextspring! Peace out everyone & be safe...

RE: new cbr 06 f4i owner
I know that is what I have been hearing from people go with 2 bros. I will tell you one thing when I open my bike up and I am cruising with this stock pipe on. I will lean really forward with my stomach basically touching the tank and here this echo sound from the wind. I don't know what it is but its cool.
