how much would u guys pay for an 02F4i with 19,xxx miles.
its gonna need a new back tire and it doesnt have mirrors, its has little chrome plates where the mirrors would be. it has no scratches or dents and a yoshi exhaust, this is in indiana if that makes a difference. it also has an undertail kit and flushmounts already. what do you guys think would be a reasonable price for this. thanks.

 

Assuming no major drops (All OEM plastics), in good to excellent shape, Clear title, and asome sort of service history, I'd say $3500ish at this time of year.

I picked mine up with 16K miles last October - 1 light drop on the side, same low tread tires, same options (Jardine/Fender elim) for 3800 in North Dakota - Indiana will havea slightly better bike demand, but it also has higher miles...

I like to think they will see a seasonal appreciation as we approach April when they are rideable, but who knows...

Just offer pretty low at first so you have some bargaining power. I got my 02 for 3000 becasue I offered him 2900. It had 11500 for miles. I also made sure to point out all of the flaws (just little scrapes and a missing mirror). Good luck.

yea its a dealer and the starting asking price is 4900. i wasnt gonna go for more than 4k either, and try to get him to throw a set of tires in but i doubt he'll come down that far.

 

Don't buy from the dealer if you want a good deal.

 

To be fair here you can get an excellent deal on a NEW bike from a dealer this time of year - but I do agree that if you are buying a used bike, get it from the previous owner. Bikes (esp. the f4i) are typically abused so it makes sense to buy from a person who knows the true history of the bike. If you don't like the seller - you shouldn't like the bike.

I'd pass this offer if I were you, just keep your eye's open there are tons of f4i's out there for sale at real good prices.

 

I wouldnt give more than 3500ish as is. IMO, 4000 would be pushing it but only if new tires were included
