Default need help with slip on; first mod on 05F4I

OK my first mod and I would appreciate any feedback. I am thinking about getting an Yoshimura Tri-Oval (TRS) for my 05F4I. I think the carbon fiber might look the best. If anyone has some pics I'd appreciate them. I also would appreciate any feedback on sound, etc. I've done a search through the forum and found MANY MANY opinions for slip ons. I just want to know what it will look like on my bike. BTW I am looking at having a passenger who won't get burned so if you have any insight please let me know.

If you want to minimize the chance of your passenger getting burned, Carbon Fiber goes a long way. It stays cooler than Aluminum or Stainless Steel. The big thing is for YOU to flip out the passenger pegs before your passenger boards, and make sure they get on from the left side. That way they don't have to step over the pipe.

Do a search and I am sure you will be able to find someone who has posted a pic of a F4 or F4i with a Yosh Tri-Oval.

Here is a pic of a forum members bike (not mine) with a tri-oval on it. Figured you'd like to see it on your color bike. I have one on mine and as far as sound goes it's not the loudest pipe out there but has a realy nice tone to it. Quiet at idle and screams at WOT.

My trioval Yoshimura sounds amazing...another brand that sounds great is Two Brothers....if i were you id go with one of those two....but if its pure loudness you want, D&D makes a very mean pipe that will wake up the neighborhood, lol....but loudness isnt for me, even though the yoshi pipe screams if you hit the throttle

I think I am going with the Yoshi slip on but I have not decided on whether to get the Titanium or the Stainless Steel. Decisions.. Decisions...

Carbon stays cool enough not to melt flesh on contact.

Of course you will NEVER carry a passenger wearing shorts right? So that will not be an issue?

Here's a pic of my bike (from my photo album) but it's kind of small. I have the same model/color as you so hope this gives you a good idea. I like the stainless look the best but whatever style you decide on you will love the Yosh. Email me if you want me to send you larger pics!
