Im looking at buying a 2004 Red and Black Honda F4i it has 3900 miles on it and tha dealership wants $6100 for it. Is that about right or am I getting screwed. Also to note it has about a 3to 5 inch longdent on tha exhaust pipe and some scratches on the right fairing. Afriend of mine who is a mechanic went with me and checked it out and said the bike is fine he just dropped it but it is in very good shape.

 

I myself believe that is a little high for an 04 with a dent and some scratches on the fairings. You can buy like new 06s for like 7000 if you find the right place.

 

Yup...i'd say a bit high as well. You can usually find a nice F4i (various years) for about $4500-$5000 at a dealership in very good condition and lower miles.

 

Yeah, that is a bit high. I bought my 05 f4i for 6k in perfect condition with similar mileage.

 

yep, a little too high since i bought mine for $5,500 with helmet, jacket, polished wheels, aftermarket exhaust, and 2800 miles.

Where are you located? My '04 Red/Blk with 3300 miles 2 more years of warranty, bone stock was $5700 private party. That's in the Boston area, where prices are high on everything. I think $6100 would have been what a dealer was asking. That's not to say the price isnt high, but depending on where you are located, that might not be to far off.

 

Walk from that deal dude. That bike isn't worth a cent more than $5000. I'm surprised that a dealership would even try to sell a bike with damage on it, especially asking more than blue book for it.

I sold a pristine '04 with 3000 miles on it last year for $6200.
