just use 2 open end box wrenches, or a gear wrench. You have it adjusted where you want it already?? If not, (I used my fingers) to tighten it up until there's just a little bit of tension, then start it up and listen, tighten it until the noise stops. Rev it a little bit to make sure there's no bad noises, then try and mark the bolt head somewhere (reference mark). Turn it another 1/4 turn, use one of the wrenches to hold that from turning, and the other wrench to tighten down the locknut good and tight.
I can't remember for sure, but I "think" they were 16mm (??) Or maybe it was 9/16... I can't remember for sure
