Unhappy Need help

New to this page. Joined so I can get help and experience. I bought my first bike 2002 Honda CBR 600 F4i and it ran great but needed some slight touches. So I bought a new fairing bolt kit and everything was going fine until the back painted part of the tails holes didnt line up with the holes on the under side of the tail because the under side is after market. So I took a drill bit with my fingers and tried reaming the hole out a little bit. I went too far and hit the Voltage Regulator ( about 3 wires where nicked). Bike would not start after that. So I bought one off ebay. Put it on and still wont start. Tested battery, its good. Fuses are good. Now I have the ECU computer box located under the seat on top the battery coming in the mail. But my ? is. Is there anything else it could be? Or does anyone think I shorted out the Computer and this should fix it? It sucks that I waited 5 years to get a bike because had kids and times were tight and I finally get one and I do something so minor ( bolt kit ) and mess the whole thing up.

Any comments, advice, or support would be greatly appreciated

What exactly happens when you try to start it? Does it crank? Fuel pump running? dash lights on? Is it in neutral? Kill switch on?

It will start and run without the r/r. How did you test the battery and fuses?

Did you find and test the 30a main fuse that's not in the fuse box?

Follow the positive battery cable from the battery to the fuse box. It's in that line, under a red, on mine its red, cover.

It sure will. The power supply for the fuse box, which is everything, goes through it.

It's just regular 30a fuse.
