You can use a mobilone M-108 or M-110 oil filter. Can get at any auto party store. You can reach right in from the front fairing and spin that sucker off.

Purolator Pure One PL14610 or PL14612
Mobil 1 M1-110 orM1-108

They are way cheaper and a lot better than the high dollar stock filters($16 vs $6).

Oil depends on what you want..I run repsol(10w 40 full synthetic).

Mobil 1 full syn 15w-50 (car oil... silver or gold cap) is what I've been using for the last 102k miles in mine.... always worked great! You can pick it up at any auto parts store or even some walmarts have the 5 qt jug for $20

1 gallon of 10w-40 Honda GN4 costs about $12 and the OEM filter is about $15(?) at your local Honda dealer
