what is the technical term for the relay under the drivers seat that seperates the battery from the starter? or is it a soleniod?
how much do they run. the fuse holding part is loose and its sucks when out of nowhere you loose power.

Do you mean under the seat where you put the blinker fluid? I think it's called the gravity relay switch.

 

worldofpowersports.com has complete parts diagrams but i think its the recificer but i dont think thats how you spell it

 

that is your flux capacitor, you can order a new one from the dealership for like 20 bucks

 

I'd be interested to hear the story about ordering that part... "excuse me, do you have a flux capacitor for an '02 F4i?" and say it in all seriousness.
