That ninja looks Sierra Hotel. It would have been nice if they'd given the 500 the new look. Heck, I'd probably think about buying one then, jumping in my time machine and give that to myself as my first bike (LOL).

Be careful, those bikes are slow as hell, almost dangerous. Hell the 07s were faster, but not by much. Arent they like 28 HP? Perfect bike for an absolute beginner not going more than like 45 MPH, then the engine is all wound up and whining. Good luck selling it in a few months.

Just stay safe!

I started out with Honda Rebel and now I'm a madman on the F4i. Riding it for four years now.
Best all around 600 out there. Whatta shame it's been discontinued..

keep the fender on the bike it helps with visibility, and girls dont care about how "cool" the bike looks. you want her to be safe and once you start hacking off reflectors and big turn signals you get into the "im a guy and i'm too cool for that" idea

trust me

thanks for all the advice guys i'll be sure to pass it along to her. She'll learn a lot soon enough anyway. She won't be riding without me, so there'll at least be 2 bikes on the road for visibility. Once i get some daytime pics i'll be sure and pass those along too.

Be aware of the tendency in yourself to be overprotective of your wife and neglect your own safety.
