If I got a bike it would take me forever to get it modded to the way that I want it. But I would probably go with a 1000RR. Since I am only 150 lbs, a 600 has more that enough power for me and with the economy the way it is, IDK if I could afford to drop a 11 grand on a new bike when mine runs great.

Always had some weird love affair with the RC's.... it's a bad *** bike! Of course the Duc 848's and 1098's are badass bikes too, but kinda out of my price range, and iwth the kind of miles I put on... I dunno about the reliability. Might be something else out by the time I'm ready to buy another bike.... I'm broke so it'll be awhile [&:] Oh well the F4i is still running like a champ... I'll run her past 200k

 

keep my f4i as my stunter and get a 636 or 08 600rr as my street rider.but when i blow my f4i motor ill still keep it and put another motor in it.

 

Your F4i is a freaking champ! Once you run her to 200k and the odometer resets, sell it as a brand new bike

I'm sure the 848's will depreciate along the years, but you're definitely right with its reliability because of the mileage you would pull out of it.

 

09 600RR in green/black. Nothing will stop me from having that bike, finally a green CBR. I'll keep the F4i as my commuter bike.

Gixxer 750, '06+. Still planning on keeping my F4i for more of a street/commuter bike, but I'd like a more track focused bike too. I've owned only 600's so far and would like to try something different (i.e. bigger), but I think a liter bike will be overkill for me. My buddy let me ride his '07 750yesterday and it was pretty sweet.
