RE: My New 2005 CBR F4i !!
I have the same bike and have a jardine and like the sound, raspy like the d&d but of course not as loud. I have aslo converted my tail fairing to two seater like the 01-03 F4i and just put an undertail I bought off ebay on it that is silver. Waiting to install my new freestyle framesliders on it before I post pics

My pipe is also the jardine rt-one. The fairing i got off ebay for $125, it was rashed pretty bad. I got one of my friends to do some work on it. When he was through I got a local body shop to paint it $180. The undertail is abs plastic I also got it off ebay came painted silver, led brake and turn signal installed for around $200. Once I get pictures I will post, possibly next week

I've got an Olson Composite undertail. It's all carbon fiber. HOT LOOKING PIECE!

I have the Yoshimura Titanium exhaust slip on. If you're not looking for a full race system, then the Yosh's are your best bet. The sound is great...not too loud, but throaty enough to let folks know you're coming through traffic. I have a friend that has a D&D on his bike, and I cannot ride next to the man because the sound is loud enough to induce rage...there were times I literally wanted to take my helmet off and beat him with it; his pipes are THAT loud. I can literally hear him two city blocks away. It's irritating.
I got my exhaust from Parts411 and the install took me about a half hour with my bike propped up on front & rear stands. Make sure you keep the shipping cover (thin looking white cloth) on the exhaust while you install it so as not to scratch it up. A couple towels under the bike during install is also recommended.
The exhaust sound and low end response from stock to Yosh is like night and day. You'll love it. Adding a Power Commander at a later date is optional as the bike responds very well without it. Good luck.
