well, i guess i can say it's finally finished. here's a pic of my final mod...



a couple of notes:
1) it's really amazing how quickly something can occur for which there is just no possible anticipation, preparation or reaction. i've had some close calls which i've been able to predict and avoid, but this was just scary. guy pulled out of his driveway right in front of me.
2) i think this will certainly open the eyes of some local riders about helmet use. it was definitely a lifesaver here.
3) all things considered, could have been MUCH worse. God's been very good to me; care at the hospital was great and things fell right into place. my damage is a busted left wrist, shoulder, ribs, and lots of bruises.

HOLY $HIT REGEN - That is a real eye opener lemme tell ya. Glad to hear you were wearing a brain bucket... I would never think about riding without one.

Hope that ****in ******* realizes not to shoot out of his driveway anymore. Terrible about the loss =( even looks good all smashed up =( get well soon.

 

wow man that sucks, sorry to see this happen. I hope you didn't get dicked and get cited for anything.

Regenerated -- I'm glad that you'll be o.k. The bike looks just awful so I'm sure you're right that the helmet was instrumental in keeping you alive. I hate when this stuff happens[:@] Heal quickly dude.



And guys -- the man just lost his baby -- lot's of work put into that machine. Give him time -- he'll post what's for sale if and when he gets ready. Geez, it's like a bunch of vultures in here.
