Exclamation This is my bike! Start to finish!

Hi guys been lurking these forums for some time now, and realised its probably time to post up my progress of my bike! I purchased the bike about a year ago, here in Australia! Was pretty stock besides a staintune exhaust ( which i want to replace with a shorty!) Long story short, bike is a 2002 F4i, with now 26,000 on the clock! Dropped it at a round-about, when I was cut off from another driver!

And this has been my progress from before to after, stock to how it sits now!

Start! Just after a wash!

Cheers!

Quick question, did you buy the tank like that? If so, where?

The bike looks good, I'm seeing that fairing kit a lot, but still like to see what people do, like your wheels.

Angel eyes/halos are overrated. While they look good if done right, are tough to pull off with our bikes IMO. Better off sticking with a HID kit from DDM Tuning.

Hi mate, The tank was matched up by my local spray painter, he also did the air intake covers gloss black aswell! Cost $400 AUD for the tank and intake covers!

Yeah this kit is getting around, The wheels I polished myself.

HID kit? What does that exactly do?

Appreciate comments thanks!

Tell that painter he does excellent work! Looks like it's all one set!

As for the HID kit, it provides a brighter light. There's plenty of threads on it, but in a nutshell gives people that "luxury car 'blue/white' light" instead of the yellow light.

I've never seen an 02 with the silver frame. If this were a states bike it would look like an 04-06 with the 01-03 black splitseat subframe swapped on. Anyways-
Bike looks great. Those fairings look better in your photos then they do in the manufacturers pics. Im really glad you changed the rims color, they looked horrible before!

Really? I think i much prefer the look of the black! but this is a nice finish with the rest of the kit!

Yeah I suppose its all about the angle, what makes it look the part..

Yeah I kinda wish they were powder coated black, so I could put red rim tape on them!

an aftermarket pipe would really set off the right side, maybe some red or black/reflective wheel stripes too
