The brackets are all over ebay. Many times people don't know what they have and let them go for super cheap.

The used rear wheel came and i cleaned it all up and took it and the front down to cyclegear. They mounted new front and rear tires for me (Bridgestone BT-016), while I waited.

I also ordered a set of brake pads for the front and rear of the bike. Name: brakes007.jpg

The installation of the brake pads went smooth without a hitch. So did the installation of the front and rear wheels.

The next day 12/11/2010 a friend (he has a 2000 R1) and I went for a 290 mile ride to Death Valley, California. It was scenic ride with miles and miles of curvy road. We had great time and met some great people on the way. The bike performed flawlessly on the trip with a gps confirmed top speed of 141 mph. As I am sure you all know, the seat SUCKS. It is WAY too stiff and I need to address this problem ASAP.

Just a quick update on my project.

Yesterday I received my SpeedoDRD. Installation was a breeze. Just propped up my tank and reached the plug for the speed sensor through the subframe. I programed it easy as pie using the online calculator at www.12oclocklabs.com . My correction with -1/+1 came out to -13.2, now my speed reads accurate!

I also ordered some fairings from auctmarts on ebay.
The folks at Auctmarts said that they could get me the 8 stickers needed for the tank (for an additional $35) so i ordered them as well. Here is the set that I ordered:

Here is a similar set of fairings mounted on a f4i:

I would guess that they can get them for other kits. What I did was email every seller on ebay that sold this kit. Only auctmarts came through. Delkevic just said no, as did many others.

You could email them and ask. I wish you luck with the kit and stickers you need.
